WILLIAM WILSON Obituary

William (Bill) Wilson, devoted husband, and father, passed away on Tuesday, September 27th at 75 in Mooresburg, Tennessee.

Bill was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to William Stanley and Elda (Bair) Wilson. He attended Adrian college where he met his love, Jane Tinker.  In 1969, he received a Philosophy degree , and later that year, on November 29th, 1969, he married Jane. Together they raised two sons, William Matthew and Daniel, in Munster, Indiana until he retired from the steel industry and relocated to their dream home in Legacy Bay (Mooresburg) Tennessee.

Bill devoted his life to service for his family, church, and community. He was at his happiest landscaping extravagant backyards and gardens, crafting things from wood or glass, building model railroads, hanging out with his Yorkshire Terrier, watching the Steelers, spending precious summers with his grandchildren, and relaxing in the evening with Jane. He served on too many community and church boards to count, and rarely passed up an opportunity to lend his time or talents to anyone who needed them.

He was preceded in death by his father William Stanley, his mother, Elda, and his sister Patricia. Bill is survived by his wife Jane, his twin sister Linda and younger sister Nancy, his sons William Matthew and Daniel, their spouses Kelly and Xingyu, and his grandchildren William Parker and Jackson Lee. They will all miss him terribly.

There will be a small get-together in the future, to be announced at a later date.
