WILLIE C. MOWEL

Willie C.  Mowel, age 61, of Rogersville, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024, after a period of declining health. Willie was a Boyscout Master of Rogersville Troop 143 and retired from truck driving after 25 years of service.  He was preceded in death by his father Willie "Bootie" H. Mowel and son Brandon A. Mowel.

Survivors include his sons, Austin Mowel of Rogersville and Taylor Pack (Sylvia Ruiz)of Hagerstown, MD, two grandchildren, Abigail Mowel and Leonardo Ruiz, mother Judy Mowel of Rogersville, sister Dorothy Mowel, special niece Rebecca Hickman (Jacob), all of Rogersville, and special cousin Lonnie Matthews.  A special thank you to the staff of Amedisys Home Health and Amedisys Hospice.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2024 in the Broome Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2024, with Rev. John Moore officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.
