Rogersville: Yolanda Cantu Chapa, 73, of Rogersville passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, after a period of declining health at Serenity House, Morristown. Yolanda loved her family so very well. Her two children, eight granddaughters and three great grandchildren were her great pride and joys of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Chapa, parents Domingo and Ernestina Elizondo Cantu, brother Domingo Cantu, sister Angelina Guerrero, sister-in-law Carmen Cantu.
Survivors include her daughter Cyndi Ballew and husband Gary of Rogersville, son Anthony Chapa and wife Patricia of Modesto, CA., grandchildren Krisaley Lara, Ashlee Chapa, Alexis Bradley, Kaylee Chapa, Madison Ballew, Victoria Chapa, Emily Chapa, and Allison Chapa, great-grandchildren Ava Bradley, Blaze Lara, Luke Bradley, sisters Erma Aguirre and husband Ralph of Gilroy, CA., Lisa Zertuche and husband Ralph of Gilroy, CA., Eva Flores and husband Roy of Murrieta, CA., Hortencia Cabrera and husband Joe of Plainview, TX., brothers Leonard Cantu and wife Rose of Plainview, TX., Robert Cantu and wife Linda of Canyon, TX., David Cantu and wife Janie of Oakridge, TN., brother-in-law Pedro Guerrero of Apodaca Nuevo Leon, Mexico, several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
