Rogersville, TN: John Thomas Eason, age 75 of Rogersville, TN, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Eason was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Thomas and Emily Joyner Eason; nephew, Jamie Thompson.
He is survived by his wife, Belle Eason; daughters, Anita Smith and husband, Ben, Jennifer Edwards and husband, Jimmy, Lorrie Helton, Jamie McDaniel and husband, Artie; son, Jeffery Simmons and wife, Denise; Granddaughters, Emily Smith and Anna-Grace Smith; several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Thompson; nephews, Johnny Thompson and Greg Thompson.
Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville.
Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 18, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dathan Hickman officiating.
